RENTAL POLICY

RENTAL DAY
– Unless otherwise specified, the minimum rental period is a 24-hour day. Equipment charges begin when the rental contract is signed and end when the
equipment is returned. Equipment is charged for one-sixth the daily rate per each hour overtime. Customers returning equipment must report to the front counter.

OTHER RATES – Some equipment, as noted in this guide, has less-than-day minimum rental periods. All equipment have weekly and monthly rates. Weekly and monthly
rates may be quoted on request.

DEPOSITS – Deposits must be left for all equipment unless a charge account already has been established. Deposits may take the form of checks, Mastercharge or Visa.

CREDIT – Credit applications are available upon request. Once a credit application is approved, a 30-day account may be established, with all charges due in full the 10th
of the month following each statement. Accounts become delinquent following the 25th, and are charged a periodic rate of 1.5 percent interest per month, which is 18 percent annually. Inquires about billing must be received within 10 days of the receipt of the statement.

MINIMUM CHARGES – The minimum rental charge is $5.00 per transaction.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT RENTALS – All equipment is rented on a basis of not more than eight hours metered time over a 24-hour period, with additional metered hours during the 24-hour period pro-rated. Rentals presume eight hours use per day, 40 hours per week, 160 hours per month.

RESERVATIONS – Equipment may be reserved at no charge. It is especially a good idea to reserve heavy equipment and seasonal items such as pressure washers or paint sprayers, in the busy summer.

IDENTIFICATION – A valid Washington driver’s license must be presented for all rentals. Additional identification includes year, makes and license number of renter’s vehicle,and any major credit card.

DELIVERY – Delivery and pickup is available. Call for price. If equipment is delivered, customer must call for pick-up when through.

EQUIPMENT CARE – All equipment must be returned clean, or a minimum $10 cleaning charge may be imposed. There is no charge for normal wear and tear on equipment, but damage due to misuse or the lessee’s improper care or neglect will result in a charge.

INSURANCE – It is up to the lessee to carry insurance to cover rented equipment.

EQUIPMENT PROTECTION PLAN – As an added service we offer an Equipment Protection Plan. This plan covers the rental equipment against Accidental Damage. It is an additional percentage charge of the gross rental. This does not cover misuse, loss of any kind, tire damage, theft, or neglect. Specific items may be excluded from the plan.
